All The Drive You Need In All Wheel Drive

Champion Motor Graders is the only manufacturer to offer true All Wheel Drive in a Compact Grader.

Other manufacturers might talk about All Wheel Drive. Unfortunately, it's usually little more than talk! When you look closer, you often find that some AWD systems are still an unproven work-in-progress, with no production models in the field. For others, machines have been fielded that will send power to all wheels – but not with full power to perform productively on the job.

For true All Wheel Drive, you need a Champion. Champion C66 B and C86 C Graders serve the rear wheels and front wheels with separate hydraulic drive systems, so both sets of wheels get full power. Other manufacturers simply divert power from the rear drive to the front: they might get all their wheels turning, but you get less drive overall!

With full power to all wheels, the Champion All Wheel Drive maximizes your grader's ability to push, cut and turn through soft or slick soils. It also maintains positive control of the machine to finish faster with greater accuracy. The Champion system equalizes traction to both front wheels through turns, with full front-axle mobilities and wheel lean while the AWD is engaged.
